This week Ubisoft have confirmed they will be releasing a new Prince of Persia, titled The Forgotten Sands.

We don’t know much about Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands as not much has been said by any party. Ubisoft have stated that the game concept will be going back to the Sands of Time story and also… “will feature many of the fan-favorite elements from the original series as well as new gameplay innovations that gamers have come to expect from the Prince of Persia brand.” How very vague…

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands currently has a release date of May 2010, conveniently around the same time the movie is due out. Looks like we’ll have a new Persia game sooner than we thought. Good times…
