Lassoff v Microsoft – MSPoints Face Their Fate

Should it be the price of them, the fact that dogs are able to purchase them easily or just the random amounts you’re always left with after purchasing something, everyone has some ‘beef’ with Microsoft Points.
Well get in line because Samuel Lassoff from Horsham, Pennsylvania has found himself an attorney as is taking the Microsoft Corporation straight to court.
Lassoff recently purchased some Microsoft points at his own leisure. His intention was to buy a few themes, a game possibly and even maybe a new cat for his avatar. Unfortunately for him this wasn’t the case.
For some unknown reason, the points would not correctly download due to some fault on Microsofts end – or so he’d have us believe. Microsoft’s reign of terror didn’t end there though, Lassoff was shocked to find that he had also been charged for the points which he hadn’t actually receive!
The legal representative of Lassoff stated that Microsoft “engaged in a scheme to unjustly enrich itself through their fraudulent handling” of his client’s account.
With Xbox Live merchandise forever expanding, could this be the push Microsoft need to consider introducing a more direct system? I personally hope so…
