Ubisoft’s Announcement: Ghost Recon

[9 Feb 2010 | AdamnessX | 1 Comment]

Last week Ubisoft stated that a BIG announcement will be dropped on us sometime this week. Now no real clues have been given as to what it might be, but with all the awesomeness Ubisoft have been pulling out the bag recently, I for one can’t wait. Kimi Matsuzaki posted a hint as to how we can find out about this news on his Twitter:

“Xbox Live – where you want to keep an eye on for the Big announcement,”

My bet is that the announcement will be revealed on Thursday for Microsoft’s X10 event. So now everyone has a heads up, keep your eyes peeled.

In other Ubisoft related news, Ubisoft France announced Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. The game is currently in development and should be released at the end of 2010.

And if that news isn’t enough, all purchasers of Splinter Cell:Conviction will be able to take part in the Ghost Recon beta session this summer.

The game has been announced for the Xbox, but when questioned about other consoles, a spokesperson had this to say: “We aren’t communicating the formats just yet, you will have to wait for further announcements in the coming months.”
