According to the ever reliable ‘a trusted source’, Gears of War 3 will be released in April of next year, or at least so says Edge.

Although the game hasn’t been officially announced as yet, that is surely just a formality and this release date does sound sensible enough to me. After all, in the build up to Christmas there will likely be the latest Call of Duty game, Halo Reach and also the release of Project Natal. All of these Epic would likely want to avoid going up against so leaving the final installment in the Gears trilogy until early next year would make perfect sense.
