Here’s a bit of news that I’m sure will have Webby smiling: Atari have announced that a sequel to their popular Test Drive Unlimited will be coming later this year. The release date currently is the wonderfully vague ‘Fall 2010′.
The game will feature an all new island to explore and cars will now feature more accurate damage modelling. The devs are also aiming to expand on the MMO features present in the first game, using the term MOOR (Massively Open Online Racing) to describe the experience.
I’m not sure that there’s space in my collection for another racing game as Forza 3 provided such a complete experience, but if any game is going to change my mind about that then it could well be Test Drive Unlimited 2.
