Microsoft is delighted to announce that Alan Wake will be hitting stores across Europe on Friday 14th May – a full week ahead of its original release date.

The poll for the Time magazine top 100 most influential people of 2010 has a few surprising videogame inclusions. There’s the co-creators of Penny Arcade, Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik, and also Peter Molyneux. It’s rather pleasing to see some of the folks involved in our favourite passtime getting recognition for their work from a mainstream media source.
To put this into context somewhat, other names on the list include Barrack Obama and Hillary Clinton but there’s also the likes of Lady Gaga and Elton John in there.
