Transformers War for Cybertron Review
Let me start by saying that Transformers War for Cybertron is a must buy for any Transformers fan.
The reason I say this is because this is by far the best Transformers game to ever grace a console. Unlike previous movie versions of this game, it truly sets its self apart with a great story line, amazing graphics, awesome music and original voice casting from the cartoon series.

Now if you grew up watching the cartoons you will feel completely at home with War for Cybertron because of all the above mentioned reasons. The game in itself feels very dark and that is a good thing.
The whole story revolves itself on. Yes you guessed it. The War for Cybertron. So basically its the story of Magatron and the Decepticons wanting to take over the world of Cybertron and trying to get their hands on Dark Energon to do it. Optimus Prime and the Autobots are the good guys and are trying to stop those evil Decepticons.
The way the story is told is very good to say the least. There are 10 chapter in all. In the first 5 chapter you play as the Decepticons featuring many playable characters including, Megatron, Star Scream and Soundwave.
Chapters 6 – 10 you play as the Autobots featuring awesome playable characters including Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Ratchet.
The story in itself as I have mentioned before is very deep. Without giving away spoilers it has definitely gone back to its roots from the first generation cartoon series and that in itself has made it such a better game. The characters themselves feel much more believable and the whole thing just feels so much more gritty and dark and that’s the way Transformers should be.

The game in itself feels and plays great. The feels of the weapons is spot on, with smooth and fluid movements. Transforming is something that needs to be spot on and I am glad to say that it is. You can transform whenever you wish no matter if you standing still, running or in mid air and it all feels, looks and sounds great.
The music and sound effects completely absorb you into the game and if you are a fan you will recognise everything completely. From Soundwaves hard to understand voice to the cheesy 80′s rock. Everything is there that makes this game so immersive.
Do yourself a favour and definitely try this game out even if your not a fan.
If you are a fan then this game is a must buy.
Verdict 9/10
